Contractors have cleared the sand from the promenade and boating lake.
The boating lake was drained and left empty last year so maintenance work could take place.
The lake was not refilled over the winter in order to mitigate risks to the public should the lake have frozen over.

Conwy County Borough Council had aimed to refill the boating lake in mid-April, and said this will be done with natural water flow from the Great Orme.
A spokesperson for the local authority said: “Our contractors have cleared the sand from West Shore promenade and boating lake this week as part of our yearly maintenance.
“Water from the Great Orme will naturally fill the boating lake over the next two weeks.”
