
This took place near Fountains Bar, on Mostyn Street, just after 4am on January 26.
A 24-year-old woman was arrested at the scene on suspicion of inflicting grievous bodily harm with intent, and has since been released on conditional police bail.
The 39-year-old victim was taken to Ysbyty Glan Clwyd, Bodelwyddan for treatment.
North Wales Police’s investigating officer, detective constable Ash Davies, said: “I am urging anyone who may have witnessed the incident which took place near to Fountains Bar, and later continued inside Fountains Bar itself, to come forward.

A “large” police presence could be seen outside the premises on Wednesday morning (January 29).
Images taken from the scene showed a smashed window at the bar – it is not known if a break-in was attempted.
One witness said it appeared that police were “guarding” the establishment.
