This is why there was an emergency service presence on Llandudno promenade yesterday

Up to five police cars, a rapid response medical vehicle and two ambulances attended an incident at the Chatsworth Hotel last night.

Welsh Ambulance Service said it responded to a “medical emergency” but did not comment further, simply saying three of its crews were assigned.

Police said they assisted the ambulance response to the incident in the hotel.

A Welsh Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called yesterday (23 December) at approximately 5.59pm, to reports of a medical emergency at the Chatsworth Hotel, Llandudno

“We sent two emergency ambulances and one Cymru High Acuity Response Unit to the scene.”

A North Wales Police spokesman said: “Officers were called to assist ambulance crews responding to a medical incident reported from within the hotel.”
