PLANNING permission has been granted for a unit on a Llandudno retail park to be transformed.
The Range, which sells products in the home, garden and leisure categories, submitted an application for Unit 6 on Parc Llandudno, previously occupied by Outfit, in September.
Its application has now been approved, with conditions, by Conwy County Borough Council.
The Range proposed extensions to the unit, comprising an external garden centre, plus a storage compound and an internal mezzanine area, together with associated external works.
It will add an further 1,330 square metres to the sales space, taking it to a total of 2,475sq m.
The application of display of three internally illuminated fascia signs and six non illuminated wall mounted vinyl signs.
Llandudno Town Council also recommended the scheme.
This news comes ahead of Marks and Spencer’s relocation to Parc Llandudno, with the new store to open for the first time on Wednesday, March 16.
