North Wales’ PCC, has revealed the 26 recipients of his Summer Sports Fund from across the region.
Launched in early June, the initiative aims to support sports clubs and youth organizations in organizing summer sporting activities. The Commissioner allocated £25,000 to empower youth, combat anti-social behavior, and promote teamwork and physical exercise. North Wales-wide Wales and West Housing Association– Pop-up Play Andy Dunbobbin, North Wales’ Police and Crime Commissioner, is pleased to provide funding to various clubs and groups in the region through the Summer Sports Fund. The strong response underscores the clubs’ dedication to sports and community engagement. Andy Dunbobbin’s focus as PCC is to support communities, create opportunities for youth, and address anti-social behavior. Expanding this year’s sports funding beyond football to include a wider range of sports demonstrates a commitment to inclusivity for young people.
