Llandudno hotel to undergo refurbishment

Llandudno hotel to undergo refurbishment following takeover.

A HOTEL in Llandudno will undergo a major revamp next year after being bought by a brewery chain with “exciting plans” for the establishment.

The Craigside Inn, at Colwyn Road on the Little Orme, was taken over by JW Lees last month after acquisition from Whitbread.

The company already owns the Gwesty Links Hotel in Llandudno.

A spokesperson for JW Lees said the hotel would receive the “full Inns treatment”, with an initial “fairly basic set-up” after a brief closure.

Next year, the hotel will shut for a longer period of time to undergo a full makeover.

The Hotel  sits right beside the Little Orme with raised views across Llandudno and the Great Orme.

You can literally cross the road and walk up to the summit of the Little Orme and enjoy a breath-taking view.

More adventurous souls will also enjoy the secluded walks down to the small beach on the far side of the Little Orme
