The owners of The Clovelly, on South Parade, have confirmed its closure with immediate effect.
Nic, Ed and Gaye Moran, directors at the hotel, released a statement on Thursday, February 26 confirming it would shut its doors.
The Morans, who have owned the business for 12 years, said this was because of “rising cost and affordability, alongside a reduction in visitors”.
Their statement read: “We would just like to thank all of our patrons over the last 12 years.
“Unfortunately due to rising cost and affordability, alongside a reduction in visitors, we will no longer be running The Clovelly.
“It will now be closed until its next chapter.
“We have had such fun looking after you all over the years, we’ve made some friends for life and memories to treasure.”
