Llandudno Town Council has confirmed the date for its annual free fireworks display, which will take place on Tuesday, October 27, 2026, with a contingency date set for Wednesday, October 28.
The start time is yet to be confirmed.
A statement from Llandudno Town Council said: “As the event takes place on the beach, careful consideration has been given to tide times to ensure sufficient time to safely set up and deliver the display.
In 2026, these days are the closest dates to the of November 5 when tide and range is most favourable and safe to operate.

“Building on the success of previous years, the council looks forward to welcoming residents and visitors to an unforgettable evening, with a truly spectacular and exhilarating display set to light up the seafront.
“The council would like to thank its partners Llandudno Pier/Tir Prince and Conwy County Borough Council Events for their support and professional management of the event.”
The £42,000 display launched from North Shore beach last year on November 7.
Visitors in their thousands were treated to a dazzling 20 minute show of sparkling sprays, comets, rockets, shimmering colours, sizzling whistles and more.
The event was hailed as “one of the best” firework displays by attendees.
One spectator said to the Pioneer that it was “the best non-Disney display I’ve seen,” while another commented: “Wow what a show, thought New Year in Llandudno had come early.”
Ignite Pyrotechnics were the fireworks contractor.
Cllr Carol Marubbi, Chairman of the Fireworks Sub-Committee, said to the Pioneer last year that the actual display costs are in the figure of £25,000.
She explained: “We can’t compete with London but the actual cost of £42,000 is because we’ve got to have toilets, we’ve got to have paramedics, St John’s Ambulance – we have to adhere to the rules and guidelines.
“We have to have security and they have to be Level Four/Level Five – they all cost thousands, so the rest of the money is all on safety, on highways.
“That is what the main cost is for us.”
The fireworks display raised more than £5,000 in 2025 after a ‘big push’ was put on fundraising.
