Air ambulance, coastguard and police attend medical incident at Penrhyn Bay

AN AIR ambulance was called to an incident at Penrhyn Bay on Monday morning.

The Welsh Ambulance Service and North Wales Police were called to a medical incident at Angel Bay just before 10.30am.

An air ambulance was also called for assistance and the Llandudno Coastguard Rescue Team attended at 10.35am.

A Welsh Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called this morning, Monday 15 March, at 10.28am to reports of a medical emergency in the Penrhyn Beach West area of Penrhyn Bay.

“We attended scene with one rapid response vehicle, one emergency ambulance and the Wales Air Ambulance was also called.”

A HM Coastguard spokesperson said: “At 10.35am today we were tasked to support Welsh Ambulance at Angel Bay, Llandudno. Llandudno Coastguard Rescue Team were tasked, the Air Ambulance also attended.”

A police spokesperson added: “We assisted with a medical incident.”
